From the other side of the world to your company’s next order: we’re taking a look at what’s happening in the local, state, national, and global economy – and what it means to you and your business.
Digital Rochester is pleased to bring you a multi-faceted look at some major economic trends and the ways they are likely to impact our local tech community. We’re combining an insightful analysis of some of the forces shaping the environment in which we operate with direct input on how local companies are responding to the challenges they face.
We welcome Michael Jamesson of Jamesson Associates to share the results of his study of major trends in our economic environment – think changing demographics, globalization, and technology shifts – and how they’re impacting business and the broader community. Mike applies his broad
experience to an in-depth analysis of the research and is ready to share the resulting insights on some of the most important changes going on in our world.
Digital Rochester is complementing Mike’s presentation with something new – our own survey of area business leaders to gain their insights on the issues that Mike addresses. The survey question set explores economic impacts on local businesses – directly on their companies, on their competitors, customers, and partners. At the KU, we’ll present key findings from the survey and, together with Mike, we’ll compare & contrast our local findings with the broad trends. Arm yourself with information – join us on February 13th!
