A Bright Idea! is a contest that is open to students from all regional colleges and universities. We are seeking the assistance of your university in getting the word out to the student body and hope that you will help encourage students to participate. There are multiple benefits to the university for doing so!
Help students to find jobs with a more diverse set of local companies.
Demonstrate the innovative thinking of your students to the community.
Build university relationships with local businesses.
Help the local economy by helping great students to discover the breadth of exciting employers across the region.
Bring together students from multiple campuses in an environment that encourages social interaction.
You can help to see your students celebrated at this event by helping us to get the word out! Please contact us so that we know how best to circulate email messages, meet with students and post signs on campus.
Student registration begins October 15th. Student meetings with endorsement companies will take place between October and year end. The final exhibition will be held early in February.
- The idea can be in any industry for anything (other than suggestions that are illegal, immoral or proposals otherwise deemed inappropriate by Digital Rochester)
- Entries may come from an individual student or a student team
- The exhibit may be presented with posters or slide shows accompanied by a verbal explanation or students may actually build a working prototype
