Spring’s a time to get out and play, so we’re throwing a spring-time bash! Come on out for a free lesson in rock climbing from the pros at Rock Ventures and scale the most adventurous cliffs in Rochester while you meet some people who could make a serious contribution to your company’s future! It gives a whole new meaning to “high level contacts!” It’s free! It’s fun! We want you there!
In addition to free climbing at the event, Rock Ventures will give all attendess an additional pass for One Free Admission (3 hours of climbing with shoes and harness)*. All climbers must complete a waiver. Bring yours already completed and skip the line upon arrival.
Not a climber? No problem! The rest of us will be supervising from ground level as we test our skill at games of chance with The Dealers! On arrival, you get $20,000 in ‘fun money’ to play the casino games – and at the end of the evening you use your winnings to buy raffle tickets. You could go home with one of ten gift certificates donated by GateHouse Media, a great DR supporter!
Enjoy fine food from Tasteful Connections – a variety of hors d’oeuvres, a Beef on Weck & Mashed Potato Bar and a Fudge Station! As always, we celebrate the excellent local brew brought to us by High Falls Brewing! (No drinks till after you’re done climbing.)

Belayers Needed!
In order to have lots of climbers on the wall at once, we need some DR folks (and friends) trained as belayers (rope holders). One training session is required and is available during one of three times (call ahead to make a reservation for training at 585-442-5462):
- Sunday, March 1st from 2:45-4:00 pm, OR 3:45-5:00 pm
- Monday, March 2nd from 5:45 – 7:00 pm
Belayer training includes a complementary $35 Introduction to Rock Climbing class AND upon arrival at DR networking on March 3rd at 5:00 pm, belayers will receive a two week family pass* in appreciation! All belayers** are expected to arrive at 5:00 pm and serve as a belayer from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. THANK YOU for helping to make the night at Rock Ventures a success!
